"Explore Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk and discover over 130 individually-designed Elmer sculptures inspired by the much-loved book character Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk celebrates 30 years since the Elmer book series by celebrated children's author and artist David McKee was first published by Andersen Press.
Elmer sculptures have been designed by well-known and emerging local and national artists with equally artistic Learning Herd Elmers created by school children and young people. Follow the trail around Suffolk and see how many Elmers you can find.
Use the app to explore Elmer's Big Parade Suffolk, find and unlock Elmer sculptures and pick up exciting rewards on the way. Vote for your favourite design, upload your photos to the Elmer Gallery, view your trail progress and discover the inspiration behind each design.
St Elizabeth Hospice are working in partnership with Wild in Art and Andersen Press to bring this fun, family-friendly art trail to life. At the end of the trail many of the beautifully designed Elmers will be auctioned to raise funds for St Elizabeth Hospice (registered charity number 289154), to support their vital work.
